Presenter Instructions
Thank you for your participation in COBEP/SPEC 2023 by presenting your paper. We kindly request your attention to the following presentation guidelines:
Oral Presentation Guidelines
Your oral presentation should maintain a 16:9 aspect ratio for optimal visual quality. A standard COBEP/SPEC 2023 template is available for your convenience.
Authors are allotted a 15-minute time slot for the oral presentation, followed by a 5-minute session dedicated to addressing questions from the audience.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster presentations should follow the poster template below, which outlines the recommended dimensions for your poster.

Please double check the conference program for your session day and time and arrive early to check in with your session chair.
Full Paper Submission
Step 1: Before Creating Your PDF File
Use the IEEE templates (MS Word or LATEX) to create your source document. These templates can be downloaded below:
Please Note: Do NOT add the copyright notice (i.e., XXX-X-XXXX-XXXX-X/XX/$XX.00 ©20XX IEEE) to the bottom of the first page of your source document. Proofread your source document thoroughly to confirm that it will require no revision.
Step 2: Create your PDF eXpress Account
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site.
- First-time users should do the following:
- Select the New Users.
- Enter the following:
· 56436X for the Conference ID
· your email address
· a password - Continue to enter information as prompted. An Online confirmation will be displayed and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your account setup.
- Previous users of PDF eXpress or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus still need to follow the above steps, but should enter the same password that was used for previous conferences. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Upload your file, convert it, and check the status of conversion. Once the conversion is complete, a report will be generated for the file conversion. Check whether conversion was successful, or some changes are needed.

Access the Publications Support Center if you have any questions regarding IEEE PDF eXpress.
Step 3: Paper Upload and Copyright Form
After careful verification of your PDF, upload your final paper on the submission platform. In order to be published in the conference proceedings, all accepted papers MUST be accompanied by a signed IEEE Copyright Form. Please follow the tutorial below for paper upload and IEEE Copyright Form.

Final Abstract Submission
Use the same IEEE templates (MS Word or LATEX) to create your source document. These templates can be downloaded in the aforementioned links.
After careful verification of your PDF, upload your final paper on the submission platform. IEEE Copyright Form is not required in this case.

Digest Submission:
Prospective authors are requested to submit a digest with no more than five (5) pages following the template to summarize the proposed paper. The digest should be written in English and include critical equations, figures, tables, and references as appropriate. References must also include within the page limit. No author names or affiliations can be shown in the submitted digests. Digests not conforming to these requirements will be rejected without review. The digests must clearly state the objectives of the work, its significance in advancing the state of the art, and the methods and specific results in sufficient details. All digests will go through a double-blind peer-review process to ensure a confidential and fair review. The papers presented at the conference may be included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Authors will have the flexibility to choose between submitting the full version of their paper for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, or submitting a final abstract that will not be published in the library. Full version papers and final abstracts will have to follow the IEEE conference paper template with no more than 8 and 4 pages, respectively. Full version papers exceeding 8 pages and final abstracts exceeding 4 pages will be returned.

Digests rejection/acceptance notification is scheduled for August 22, 2023. This is the information you will need to submit your final paper. Additional instructions will be included in a separate email(s).

Tutorial Proposal Submission:
The COBEP/SPEC 2023 organizing committee is pleased to invite proposals for tutorials to be presented on Sunday, November 26. We welcome tutorials that are either 2 hours or 4 hours long, covering topics related to the conference scope. Each accepted tutorial will be awarded two complimentary conference registrations, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise and network with fellow researchers and professionals. We encourage you to submit your tutorial proposal by the deadline of April 30.
