We are thrilled to announce that Magmattec, a leading provider of soft magnetic materials and solutions, will be joining us as a gold sponsor for the COBEP/SPEC 2023.
Magmattec embarked on its journey in the academic realm when its founder, engineer Hérlon de Oliveira Morsch, pursued his Master’s Degree at UFRGS Physics Department. During this time, he recognized a significant gap in the Brazilian market: the lack of components capable of effectively eliminating electromagnetic interference introduced to the power grid by devices powered by switched-mode power supplies. Motivated by this observation, extensive academic research ensued, resulting in the development of a groundbreaking national technology for the industrial production of soft magnetic toroidal cores. In 2003, Magmattec was established, marking the commencement of our endeavors in manufacturing magnetic components for the professional lighting sector.
In the subsequent years, Magmattec witnessed remarkable growth, expanding both its product portfolio and customer base. In collaboration with esteemed institutions such as FINEP, CNPQ, and SENAI, they embarked on diverse projects aimed at producing novel materials and magnetic products. Presently, the company offers a comprehensive range of soft magnetic cores, encompassing materials such as Ferrites, Iron Powder, FeSi Alloys, Sendust, Nanodust, and Nanocrystalline cores. Magmattec proudly serve a diverse array of industries, including audio, lighting, instrumentation, energy distribution, and the broader realm of power electronics. Moreover, they specialize in the design, development, and sale of customized inductors and transformers that precisely cater to the unique needs of our valued customers.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates and announcements as we count down to the COBEP/SPEC 2023! Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary event.
